    [​IMG] I'm told that this is a pretty popular NZ online store, so I've replaced the Alienware link that no one used on top of all the boards pages (Affiliated Links: row) with an affiliated link to Fishpond.co.nz.

    So, if you're from New Zealand and shop there (we have a few members from NZ here), please support SP by going to Fishpond via the SP link. SP will get a 10% commission on most non-software items you buy (software only brings a 2% commission). There's also an Australian Fishpond, but before setting up links to there too, I thought I'd wait and see if anyone besides Harbourboy uses even the NZ Fishpond.

    Thanks to Harbourboy for the idea, and if anyone else frequently shops at any online stores SP is not currently affiliated with, please let me know here and I'll look into setting up an affiliation.

    Also, for anybody who is in America and waiting patiently for the rest of the Steven Erikson books to be released, they are all available on this site so you could support SP and be the envy of your friends by having all the latest books.

    Actually, I believe they're also available from the Canadian and UK Amazons, which people in the US are more likely to use...

    I don't know about Amazon but they are certainly all available from chapters.ca (the website for the major bookstore chain here in Canada) and for a much lower cost (ignoring shipping) than from Fishpond.

    I guess I shouldn't be surprised really - I was more than a little shocked at the high book prices when I visited New Zealand.

    Beats me, I guess Erikson's books are available already in Canada as a result of him being Canadian. There is nothing to stop an American from ordering books from Canada though.

    Anyway, I wonder what my first SP affiliated purchase should be?

    One of the cool things about that site is that you get a 25c credit for every review you do. Shame I'm too lazy to do many reviews.

    Those certainly do look expensive. Seems better buying off amazon, even with the shipping costs. Apart from the 25c review credit thing :)

    Some things might still be cheaper on Amazon, but that still goes to SP so everyone still wins. I'll still buy a few CDS from here because the prices of CDS are not bad. Books in NZ are expensive, no matter where you buy them.

    Just ordered a CD and two books through Fishpond so hopefully Tal sees some cash coming through at some point soon and then he'll be able to afford that gold-plated mouse he's been wanting for so long. :D
