[IMG] My main Character is a fighter, and I have completed the fighter strong hold quest, possible to go back to the stronghold and collect the last flail head (the one near the 5 gollems) and make the flail of ages :hmm: .
Also is there any easy way to defeat those gollems because I had trouble with them early so early on in the game. :(

Well IIRC in that room (the one with 3 different treasure caches right?) the golems just get stuck in the doorway. So nab the flail head and leg it out of the door. They get stuck and you can either ignore them or just stand there and shoot/magic/whack them to death.

[edit] just re read your question. You've already completed the stronghold? In that case, AFAIK, without cheating you can't get anything you didn't alreay get. So nope there's no way to get any flail heads you missed. By completed you mean you killed troll leader (can't remember the name right now) and it's now your stronghold right?

BTW it's only the Iron Golem that get stuck in the doorway, not all of them...

Actually, the Golems DO NOT respond when you take the Third Flail head! They just guard the other three items.

So you are allowed to take a peak at the treasure without touching it, find and take the flail head, forge the flail, and then use it against them! No cheating involved here. ;)

If you attack the golems one at a time, you only need to fight the one you're attacking and not the others. Just leave the iron golem for last because he's the toughest.

Or kill the other four golems, grab all the treasures and leg it out of the room - the iron golem's too big for the doorway so he can't follow you.

thats my strategy too, attack one then leg it back to the bedroom where my party are waithing to kill it, when ever i try to fight them in the chamber all the other golems seem to like joining in, so lure one away, kill it, repeat till only the iron golem is left.

then, if your feeling lucky (and got some +3 weapons) give the iron golem a shot, he's worth 3000 exp

If you completed the quest, and talked to Nalia again for the reward, the castle is reset and all items you haven't taken are lost. So without 'cheating' there is no way you can get the complete flail of ages.

The golems guard all the items in the room except the third flailhead, so you could take it and leave the rest. Those other items, however, are worth the fight with those golems. I always force attack one golem, before taking any of these items out. This way only that golem will turn hostile, which makes the fight easier. Remember that for Clay golems you need blunt weapons to damage them, and there is an excellent warhammer in one of those niches! If you have the cloak of the sewers you can also chance a character into ooze, which is 100% immune to blunt weapons I believe, let this person block to doorway and let the others hit from a distance (I believe two-handed swords and various other weapons have enough reach).

Kill golems before taking the items. Talk to a golem when game is paused the force attack and unpause, then 6 seconds later do the same. Golems can't attack you while you can attack them.
    This is of course,cheating.

[IMG] Thank you for the tips on fighting the golems. especially Thunder, using the cloak of sewers, I never even gave that a thought. ;)
