Flesh to stone trap ruins romance?

    [​IMG] I had just finished the Assylum and was doing some of the optional quests before i bring the lanthorn to Ethan. I had just finished freeing the gladiator and he wanted me to free the children from the "dry docked ship" there in the slums. while in there Aerie got hit by a flesh to stone trap and when it happend her picture dissapeard from my party, so i get imoen to reverse it and she comes up to me and says "do we continue?" and i let her back in. now i hear that if you drop an Npc you are having a romance with it will not keep going and it will die. Now i am in ToB and havent gotten a peep from her. so im thinking that i should find the edit romance cheat and go to my final save on SoA and use it then save again and just start ToB all over, thats convinent because im not very far. all i wanna know is if that trap ruined the romance or not?

    Yep, that would be it. She thinks you kicked her out of the party if she gets petrified or killed, then brought back.

    I had another experience in Asylum area. Jaheira got petrified, and I was romancing Viccy. When I tried to get her hack in party - she left angrily for Harper Hold for a quest I already done!?!?!?!
    *sigh* :mad:
    Bugs, bugs, everywhere...

    No matter, she just left me the spare place for Imoen.
    J/K, I reloaded and got Anomen petrified - he didn't complain on anything.

    The thing happened with me when Jaheira got imprisoned. Even tho I wasn't romancing her, when I freed her she started spouting off nonsense about having to go to the Harper Hold. However this didn't screw up the plot with the harpers as she got the pin in the end :).

    I think anytime your romantic interest is removed from the party, the romance is shut down. For me it has been petrification of Jaheira in one game, when she got unstoned she kept repeating the same phrase over whenever she spoke...something about the oddball hours I kept and how good it was when the sunrise corresponded to our waking...didn't matter what time of day or night it was.
    Another time, Viconia was imprisoned...hell my whole party was except my protagonist DC Ranger/Cleric who was protected. I had to go recruit that villian Edwin in the Copper Coronet to read the Freedom scroll....if the cause hadn't been so worthy, I couldn't have justified being seen with that buffoon...or as the gramatically challenged Keldorn would say, "...no cause is more worthier."
