    Now this is something that i sometimes struggle with when it comes to 'other' countries slang words etc. So i thought i'd set one up to help people past all these little problems ... so here is the english slang with a simple definition. Please, add any slang you know that i either missed or is from your country...Oh yeah note: please excuse any bad language that is reflected onto the slang terms as i am showing the meaning of certain slang words...

    Sod: a polite form of shit/fuck i.e. for shit "you're a sod!" for fuck, "sod off!"

    Fag: a cigerette

    Snog: A french Kiss (I like those ;))

    Git: Idiot

    Jessie: wuss

    Thats about it for now but continue adding in those slang words to help us accoustom to them in a friendly manner! But please, try to refrain from swearing unless it is really required...

    My personal favorite: w00t!

    Use it as an interjection or a celebratory statement! As in...'Hey! I just upgraded my 56k modem to 1.1 SDSL. w00t! w00t!'. Works every time. True it's an independent clause, but really the best clauses are always independent. w00t.

    w00t belongs to gamers the world over. It seems to have been derived from the obselete 'whoot' which essentially is another way to say 'hoot' which itself is a shout or derisive laugh. But others maintain that w00t is the sound several players make while jumping like bunnies in Quake III. Fiction or fact? You decide...

    Here is the meaning of the word 'gay' in my society followed by an example...

    1) Gay - as in homosexual "that guy is a gay poof"

    2) Gay - as in happy "I'm feeling rather gay today" Though i recommend in this day and age, you do not say that ;)

    3) Gay - as in stupid/silly "Man! don't be gay!"

    Here are some more definitions.

    Woofter - Gay person
    Pansie - Girly boy
    Shirt lifter - Gay person
    Other version of twat - Idiot
    Bad - means its good I.e. "That was one bad shot!"
    Wicked - same as 'Bad' but is more impressive

    Er...thats all so far but keep them slang words coming. And i want all types of slang and not just bad words though some might help. :D
