    [​IMG] Hey I'm branching out and I'd like to find a good Forensic novel/thriller. I'm a big fan of CSI and I'd love anything closely remoted to that great show.

    Well, not that they are related to CSI at all but from what little I've read so far, Patricia Cornwell's Scarpetta novels are quite good. She apparently does a lot of her research in-depth with the police and forensics experts.

    Except Kay Scarpetta gets really tedious after the first couple of books and ends up doing the same thing over and over again.

    I read one of Patricia Cornwell's Scarpetta novels and it was quite enough, thanks. If you cut out all the name-dropping, you lose about 1/3 of the pages.
