I don't know if this should go on this board or the Baldur's Gate board, but in the book for Forgotten Realms, under the history section on the time of troubles, I realized found there is nothing on Bhaalspawns or anything portaying to it. Does any one know why? I mean, why can't they just put something in on it, like "Bhaal came up with this great idea, but they were all killed" or something. And a Bhaal Spawn is suposed to be like how Bane put himself in his demon son, Xim or what ever and was reborn?

Actually BioWare made more of that story than it officially was. At the Time of Troubles every God had the same sort of problems, so Bhaal's dealing with them was nothing special - there were dozens of other gods around too who handled it in their own way. So I guess instead of focusing on any specific one, the FRCS just leaves it more general.

In any event, how it officially went is that Cyric killed Bhaal and took his portfolio, so the BG saga is inaccurate in this respect as well, at least partly. I recommend reading the Avatar series of FR novels, they perfectly describe this period.

Someone also made a good post about this (the inaccuracies between the Bhaalspawn saga and actual FR history) in some other forum not long ago, but I don't remember who or where...
