Worthplaying has reviewed Demon Stone and rated it 6.5 out of 10. Here's a snip:

It’s kind of cool to see how Stormfront’s adopted the lingua franca of AD&D to a beat-‘em-up. Feats and spells have become real-time combos or moves, with each character sporting a unique magical item that gives him or her an additional ability above and beyond whatever else they’re capable of. With each enemy you defeat, you’ll earn Hero Points, which can be cashed in for a single or team super move that’ll level everyone around your character(s).

Mortal Kombat and Street Fighter fans will be happy.

Well, cool isn't exactly the term that comes to mind, especially how it's formulated here. Butchery of something great comes closer to mind. Though this doesn't mean I call it a bad game, just the way it is described rather calls a negative opinion rather than a positive one.

It may well be a good game, but not really my type. I don't see it even as an Action RPG, as it is. It looks kind of FPS with character levels.
