So whoever wants a food smiley, post here, making sure that Tal understands that we want a food smiley!

 

While I do want a food smiley, just for the fun of it, we have to remember that Tal probably has a lot on his mind. Things more important than food smiley's and we are only giving him an extra headache.

Making GIFs is easy my ass! The animated GIF is made up of no less than 62 32x18x8bpp frames!!! Damn pacience means nuthin when it comes to that much for one god damned smiley!

 

If and when Tal introduces new smilies, I want a food smily.
Only thing I can say, nothing about eating burgers. Pizza is better, comes only after

 

Pizza's good as well. The point is not burger or pizza, but We Want Food!

 

A food smiley isnt that high a priority, and certainly not the sort to make Tal spend any of his time on it. There just aren't that many places a food smiley can be used, outside of random babble. As has been suggested, locate a decent one and submit it to Tal, but the 'we' is looking decidedly like a 'you' right now.

 

Ya, yah, ya, whatever... but the and and most other rarely used smileys are used mostly in random babling!!!!!!!!!!!

I think the is close enough. Besides, there are so many different types of food, narrowing all of them down to one smiley would be impossible! Unless you want a smiley that's identical to the guy, just with the word "food" on his banner.

 

Heh, I'd like one too. Not that I'd ever USE it, but it just belongs... C'mon, when was the last time the smiley was used eh?

@ Tal - can only be used in "I had pizza today ". What we need is "I'm starving, :insertfoodsmiley: time!" or "Time for some :insertfoodsmiley:" then its guaranteed to see use. The smiley just doesn't have enough applications, we need a real food smiley (but I don't know from where though...)

I think Shalladeth's one is different enough, Tal. The knife and fork set it apart, whereas the smiley licking his lips could be used for a variety of other posts as well. Angelina Jolie comes to mind...

Of course, since the only smileys I seem to use are , , , , , , and , my 2c are a little less relevant to this discussion.

I can't belive all the interest in food smileys! Shalladeth's smiley is kind of pathetic and looks like a mentally incapacitated kindergarden kid, but it's better than nothing!

PS. If I had the time I could actually try and make a food smiley! I'll just have to see about that.
