yea that cleric/fighter u can pick up in the copper cornet. How do i het his lame ass knighted anyway?

Since this will be the first game im going to use him... ive played TONS of times, but never have i used freak boy, because his dexterity is... 10.
And can i get his lame ass knighted before i leave chapter 3? (preferably before i do the unseeing eye and korgaxx) (+5 sword reasons...)

 

To get silly Anomen knighted you have to solve his family quest the nice way, considerating Paladins path of honour. I won´t tell you more for you´ll find out when you see it.

I don´t like Anomen, but he´s an acceptable fighter and a good cleric and after beeing knighted he´s even bearable BUT I would definitely suggest to change his portrait!!!

 

I had Anomen for the whole game. He is now level 15 IIRC, and he rock! He's a powerful fighter and a powerful cleric.

If I get u correctly u want Anomen to give him Carsomyr? Sorry to dissapoint u the only knight in the game who can use it is Keldorn, Anomen is not a paladin. He is still a great cleric once his wisdom improves, a good choice for a good party.

 

Freak boy suits him well, though.

Yes, freak-boy is a dc fighter-cleric, so he cannot use bladed weapons , however, really nice name

 

wait so your telling me all freak boy gets is 4 wisdom? JUST 4 WISDOM? so wait... this pos isnt proficiant in ANY GOOD WEAPONS (cept the mace and i havnt gotten the mace of disruption yet) (not to mention thats not a +3 mace). So getting freak boy knighted gives him 4 wisdom? and thats all? WHAT GOOD IS THAT!!! oh yippie! he can now fake the beholder out of his treasure!!

Did it ever occur to you that with the +4 wisdom he becomes an awesome cleric? No, that obviously never crossed your mind, because you were busy looking for a +3 mace so you can go melee agro. Anomen is first and foremost a CLERIC. Think about it...

If you knew what my party was, you would know why i was looking for a melee fighter...
ive got a mage/theif, mage/cleric, cleric, fighter/druid, freak boy, and a Ranger with a giant minature space hamper.

Had i known that i wasnt gunna get any extra fighting skills out of him i would have just picked up korgon or something.

 

why the hell does everyone take the piss outta Anomen?

he is one of the most awesome characters i have used...

give him the Flail of Ages he can romp around unmolested... and when he is knighted he has a nice number of spells to smash people's faces with. He IS a combat monster... but can have just as good Clerical abilities. Don't lose faith in him just because he cannot take on every Demon by himself (bleedin' powergamers)...

 

oops, I just played that part today when he got called to the radiant eart but somehow he got rejected and he started going off about how he was doin that all his life blah blah trying to get in there and so on
well i think i landed a wrong answer there and he blamed me for not gettin accepted and boom i had to kill him since he attacked me. Oh well not that i really miss him but now i`m missing a good cleric coz he was a good cleric. Ooh yeah what's that about killin that family the right way. It's in a reply above

 

YOu have to NOT, I repeat NOT, kill the guy who killed his sister. If you encourage him to kill the guy he'll fail his test.

 

I found Annomen to be particularly excellent with the Righteous Magic spell, maximum dammage anyone? Or with stuff like Slay Living and Cause Serious Wounds. However it was most annoying when after doing all the right things and telling him to be a nice law-abbiding guy and even had him knighted, he ran off killed Saerk, dropped all his stuff and then disappeared to oblivion never to be seen again anywhere. That ass.

 

How can he kill Saerk and get knighted??? I thought that you had to not kill Saerk to get knighted?

 

I guess you just have to do it in the right order
However: When you want to get him knighted and still like to get the loot and XP from Saerks house "just say no" to kill him and enter his house in the bridge district. Then take your thief and simply loot the house. For there are lot´s of guards in there fights will be almost unavoidable . Just let Anomen out of sight and everything´s fine and this will not compromise Anomens knighthood

FREAK boy indeed. For some sick reason I find that extremely funny.
Yes, Anomen's a powerful character. With the Flail Of Ages and later the Crom Faeyer, you got one serious badass with righteous magic thrown in.
The Mace of Disruption along with his Turn Undead Ability makes him a great vampire slayer.
And with 16 wisdom, he only loses out to Viconia on a couple of spells.
However, don't you think he looks like one of those people who rape children or something?

 

i have all 3 female intrests in my party (oh man do the sparks fly!!!) aerie actually verbally assulted Viconia, and viconia didnt kill her because i wouldnt be pleased with her.. well anyway to the point, Freak boy talks more than they do... and on any kill quests even though hes knighted, he sounds more like a (yes what shura) or a mass murderer...
By the way, you gotta see how much jahiera, aerie and Viconia get into fights, its rather funny.
