Just wanted some opinions on the armors of NWN2. To me full-plate looks a little too "modern" like you're wearing space pants or something. Some of the other armores like studded leather look great though.

Has anyone developed a mod for the appearance of armors? (or is it even possible to do so?)

Hmm, have to disagree with you, personally. I play Paladins often, and I usually rush to get full plate because I love the look. Doesn't strike me as modern at all. I can kind of see what you mean with the upper areas, which do kind of look like football shoulder pads on some suits. The Divine Champion and Elven Ceremonial Armor sets are very intricately detailed and IMO look sweet.

As for a mod to change the appearance...it's comin', don't worry. :)

yeap, some armors look pretty weird
particularly the mithral full plate, which makes your chara look like he has some freshly grown wings

the head slot could use some extra artistic work as well, hats and some helmets just plain look silly

I think my biggest problem with fullplate ('cause I liked it at first too), is the lack of any bulk. Full Plate is supposed to be chainmail with... plates over it, so it doesn't make sense to me that it's almost skin tight :( .

Glad to hear there's a mod coming out. I like the different full plates though too, like the blackguards and dchamps. I play a lot of fighters and pally's as well, which is why I entitled it with FullPlate as it's the armor I use the most (not to mention kelgar and casavir both have it too).

Actually, there was "Plate Mail", which was basically a chain mail hauberk, and chain mail leggings, reinforced with bits of plate, while so-called "Full Plate" was custom made to fit each wearer, with very limited chain mail sections within it where there were joints, such as the arm pits, inner elbows, palms of hands, and the back of the knee joints. All of the rest was tightly fitted, and far less bulky than some Plate-and-Mail combinations.
