game crashes when I try to create a multiplayer game

    For the first time on this computer I tried to create a multiplayer game so I can make my own party. I did it successfully on the computer I had before. But on this one (with Vista) if I choose the TCP/IP protocol and click on New Game or Load Game, BG2 crashes. I am thrown out of the game and back to my desktop, and Vista tells me that BG2 is not responding. If I try it with the Serial protocol, nothing happens.

    I suspect that Vista is at fault here, because I had no problems creating MP games on my old computer. Any suggestions as to what may be the problem, and what I can do about it?

    Might be the firewall that's blocking it, or UAC. Try turning those off and see.
