game crashing out after dream

    I just started replaying bg again and i'm having a problem with it crashing to desktop after the dream about following the hard road. i have reinstalled bg,totsc, the totsc patch & the ease of use wiedu mod. it still crashes out after this dream. is there a way to change the global variables to get around this or some other way? any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Perhaps the disc is famaged? That would explain it.
