    Currently, the site features release dates, game reviews, and general gaming news from around the web. In addition, they have posted up seven areas, each devoted to certain games that they have special interest in or knowledge about. These areas are designed to provide detailed information about their respective game, such as equipment and spell listings, screenshots of interesting areas of the game or encounters, and other pertinent information crucial to the specific game. Currently, Icewind Dale, Shadowbane, and the original Baldur's Gate are thoroughly covered.

    A majority of the games currently featured at GameBanshee are role-playing, but they intend to "flesh out" the site by providing information on other genres as well. For example, Tribes 2 and Warcraft III are two games they intend to cover and the basics for these games are already online.
