    Hello everyone.
I had the most brilliant idea, and thus, decided to share it. I am looking into creating and indie-computer game. Preferably, a standard, Final Fantasy-style rpg, but all suggestions are welcome.

I'm looking for C++ programmers (ohter languages welcome as well but I prefer the power of C++), Artists (anime, fantasy, concept, scene), Animaters (able to use Cinema 4D, or 3dSMAX, others will be taken into consideration.), Writers! Yes, you roleplayers, authors, ands poets alike. Scripts, as well as storylines are needed, so start thinking.

Basically what I want to get out of this is a good game that wasn't created by the drive for money, a game created by gamers and intelligent minds. Only friendly people need apply.

Im taking charge of this project, as it was my idea, but, considering the game wont be created for a profit, i assume no right to "bully" or "boss around." I am simply the coordinator. I would enjoy all input. Please contact me via email:Npsphynx@gmail.com. Aim:Sphynxe8703, Or Msn Messenger, which uses my email.

I hope to hear form all of you!

Here might not be the best place to ask - seeing that this is a CRPG forum and Final Fantasy stuff is console...

    @ Valentine

Sorry to pop your bubble, but unless you have friends who can do this for you, it is highly unlikely that you manage to motivate anyone to join to your team (online). People are generally taken lazy and to keep them going on even after the initial inspiration is a pain in the arse. If you find a single, professional artist or programmer you can consider yourself very lucky indeed.

My suggestion is that you scout your neighbourhood and design some attractive looking ads, promising some meager pay of the job. That way you at least have *some* chances of finding co-ops.

Wirhe speaks the truth also - one thing I find is that volunteer group projects of any sort tend never to get completed - be it world building or mod making. Also, if everyone adds ideas to it, what you're trying to achieve gets diluted.

If you have something to show that indicates that it has some possibility of being finished there are people who might join you. Maybe look at a place like www.gamedev.net or other sites like that.
