[IMG] YIPPEE!!! I finally succeeded in giving my two mages (Edwin and my sorcerer) awsome weapons using a program called 'Near Infinity'. I totally suggest it if you want to do some basic and very simple editing.
Anyways - Where the hell are the Gauntlets of Crushing? Quest item? Quest reward? I have got to get those for my monk!

[IMG] If you're finding that your spellcasters are not using their hands, try getting them to cast spells. I've heard this works with those types of characters.

    [IMG] Hi,

Nope, you only get the gloves if you side with the King, he also gives you rod of lordly might.

If you side with the prince, you can open up the kings treasury and get the rod as well but the gloves are not there.

    Cheers,

    WittyNewt.

[IMG] ah i see. must be an error in my game, because I've played the game both ways and I only got them when i was with the prince. Unless you only get them when you're a monk? the idea only ocurred to me now that you may not get it if you're not :heh:

  7. Gauntlets of Crushing are best with a monk.
    The effects are:
    • +4 THAC0 with fists.
    • +4 Damage with fists.
An obviously useful tool for the monk, as you can clearly see.

  8. Hmm.. I got that gloves by siding with the King. You get the gloves with any class. Siding with the Prince gets you a rod, methinks.
