    [​IMG] How does one modify that mandrake root? I put it on the eastern most distiller but pulling either of those levers doesn't work. The southern one needs fixing and the northern one only doles out damage. Thanks.

    There is an already modified mandrake root, but you won't be able to find it until you find the Sword of Myrloch Vale and return it to Mandan. He will then show you where he hid the modified mandrake root.

    Talk to Nheero, he will explain all of this stuff.

    After you find Mandan dead, go talk to Nheeru. He'll give you some advice on the subject.

    Once you have his sword go back to the temple on level 2 or to where you found his body on level 2. A skeleton should be there, this is Mandal's spirit. He will then take you to where he hid the root.

    Once you have the root, how in the heck do you fix the broken lever so that you can make the modified brew and the wyvern poison? There is no one left on level 2 and Nheero is not saying anything useful anymore-he just keeps offering to research questions in the library.

    Edit: nevermind, I saw in another post that I have to talk to Nheero with the modified root in my inventory to get an alchemist to show up on level 2. Guess I should not have left the root on the table when I went back to talk to him...

    [​IMG] Well I was shown where Mandel put the mandrake root (by his ghost) but I simply cannot find the actual root!! Waahhh :( I can only see a solid ring of boulders!! Please can anyone help with this???? thanx everyone :) :)

    He shows you the ring of boulders on the 2nd level, and he said he threw the root over the rocks. Go back to the 1st level and go down past the armory to the wyvern den. The floor there acts as a stairway down to the second level and the roots appears after you go down inside the ring of boulders. Also, search for a hidden cache of items after you kill the wyvern inside the ring of boulders...
