    Okay, here's the deal.

    I write for an e-zine. I review movies and CDs. I need something decent to review. The thing is that I don't watch too many movies. The other thing is that a couple of CDs I want to review are a bit, well, old. It may not agree with the editors.

    Anyhoo, I would like suggestions for CDs and movies to review. The only deal is that for CDs, they should probably be released this year, and for movies, be released in August or this month. So, any suggestions.

    (By the way... please don't suggest some CD by your favorite band. The less obscure, the better; any recent CCM releases are also a plus.)

    Thank you for your help.

    St. Anger - Metallica is an easy one, off the top of my head.
    8 Mile Soundtrack - Various is another one.
    The Matrix : Reloaded for movies.
    Pirates of the Caribbean

    League of Extraodrinary Gentlemen also struck me as an easy movie to review because the flaws were obvious.

    If you don't watch many movies, I don't give much for your reviews Oaz. Sorry. Not to begin with anyway.

    There is this almost unknown U.S. band that actually made it big here in the Philippines. The story was quite unusual but somewhat similar to Roxette (of Switzerland). The bands name is Stephen Speaks. They had a new album, this year (Out of My League)... their first real album. This was because of the sudden fame that they have over here. There music are basically pop, ballads.

    You might want to check this links:

    :nono: Last time I checked, Roxette was listed as coming from Sweden... quite a difference if you ask me (as a swiss guy living in Finland, I get kind of touchy about this misunderstanding :p ).

    Otherwise, I might suggest Tricky's new album "Vulnerable".

    @Kralizek,

    Ooops! Sorry if I got the wrong nationality. What I wanted to point out with the similarity was actually the fact that Roxette got famous was because somebody brought their demo tape (or something) to the U.S. This in turn got played over the radio. And got them famous.
