In using the golem manual, am I limited to summoning only one kind of golem? And if so, which species is the best? I'm thinking stone golem, but are there pros and cons for each of the golems to considers?

[IMG] As you find additional golem manual pages further in the game, Cespenar is able to add them to the manual. From there on, you always get a better golem. You start with a flesh golem, then progress to clay, stone - and finally iron golem. Each one is more powerful than the previous one.

Iron golem? The last upgrade is to a juggernaut golem, not an iron golem.

    [IMG] STATISTICS:
    Cast Juggernaut once/day (see below)

This spell causes an Iron Golem to appear at the caster's side for 10 rounds.
    The golem serves two purposes:

First, it will attack any enemies it can see. Second, the golem acts as a magical shield for the wizard, absorbing all melee damage inflicted on the caster for up to 5 blows. If the caster is struck 5 times the golem is dispelled.

Point being, juggernaut golem = iron golem.

To summon golems, you need to find an item called a Golem Manual. You will find that on the first floor of Watcher's Keep.

To get the other golems, you find various pages throughout the game and have Cespenar upgrade it.
