Some bastard just kicked me from the chat for no reason at all! i wasn't even swearing or being offensive to the kids, just kicked on suspicion!

Lokken kicked you out because you were banned mirkwood. Also, somthing about being drunk...?

 

Wait a minute, that is serious accusation plus not a reason to get mad at the whole community.

Lets bring up defence on whomever did that - rules in short:

• No personal attacks, insults, or flames.
• No obscene or illegal material.
• No lame "l33t" spelling, not even partial.
• No negative racial/sexist/etc. remarks.
• No excessive swearing.
• Do not abuse Mystra (the channel bot).
• Do not run the D&D dice rolls in FAI. No obscene nicknames. Try to keep your nickname civil and short. (Under 15 characters.)
• No scripts.
• Do not type in ALL CAPITAL LETTERS.
• No colors.
• Changing nicks. Do not change your nickname excessively, this is bothersome and may cause you to be kicked or even banned.
• Foreign Languages. In small amounts, using a different language is fine. When users of the chat use nothing but another language, it gets annoying.
• Do not ask for voice (+v) or operator (+o) status.
• If you have an issue related to the operators... If you have a problem with a ban or the conduct in the room, be it yours or someone else's, contact one of the ops.
• The fact is, if you choose to make this place un-enjoyable for everyone else, you will be dealt with. We reserve the right to make bans of your username permanent, so if you don't think you can control your conduct, go elsewhere. The chatrooms are here so people can have fun and chat with friends. Don't try to ruin it for others.

If you violated nothing of these, don't spam it over the board but contact one of ops as it is said - via /query or by mail.

I wasn't in the room at the moment so you may contact me, but if you don't want me, there are more than enough ops to talk to about it. Don't forget to provide the log file of whole "accident".

And come on! Show some good will here. There is not a reason to be mad at one single kick, it's not like you've been banned.

Z-Layrex says you're banned not kicked. I can't know if that is true, but the offer to contact any other op besides one who did that still stays (with the log file on the matter). The ban is performed on hostmask so it can always happen someone is banned but no other can enter the room with the similar hostmask. This can always be sorted if that's the case - again no reason to get mad.

This means nothing. The log with the talk is the log I seek. The kick message can be set on anything (i.e. in my kick message is the link to chatroom rules).

 

Really, oh, well i do know he's banned, thats for sure. Why else would Lokken have kicked him, he wasn't doing anything wrong on there.

 

Mirkwood, I banned you from the chatroom last night because you were swearing and you had been warned not to do that. Not wanting to ban everyone with the same ISP as you I did a more specific ban that was rather easy to get around. Lokken kicked you because you were not supposed to be in there because you were banned.
