    To be blunt, I can't find it, anywhere! It is the only component needed to escape Baator. Where is some? How can I abtain some? Wheres it located? That kind of thing.

    Try the lower left corner of the baator map. Just run around in that little "pocket" and something should pop up, fixing your problem for you...

    I tried that a bazillion times to the 2nd power. I need obsidian to activate the portal. I shall reiterate, wheres it at?

    It's not at anywhere. It's a triggered event dialog thing. Just keep goin left from the pillar os skulls (area) and it should appear.

    If you do not ask the Pillar of Skulls how to leave Baator, then you will never get the dialogue, nor will you get the obsidian.

    IIRC the dialog only pops up if you are sending TNO there, not if you are using someone else. I remember it as very tricky, though

    Extremist, are you saying that there is an intelligence requirement for finding that portal ? This means that you can't get out of Baator if your score is not high enough, and you were too kind to Fhjull :D ?
    Alternatively, why not send Nordom there, and let him detect the portal for you ?

    There is no int requirement to locate the portal, but you do have to ask either FFT or the Pillar how to get out. There is an int requirement to ask FFT though.

    You need INT 18 or higher to "squeeze" that info out of Fhjull.

    Nordom will detect portal but you forget that Nordom can't detect portal keys. This doesn't mean that Nordom shouldn't be in your party.

    I didn't mean that Nordom would find the key. But since Frog already knows about the obsidian, the Modron could point to the portal... and, after you tried to locate it many times, it can be relieving to at least know it is really there :shake:
