[IMG] Yep. I sold my old Asus. Bought a new graphic card... But Bugger! I forgot to uninstall my Asus display drivers. Now they won't go away in add/remove programs. And my new NVIDIA graphic card won't cooporate with two active 3D drivers. I hope to draw on the divine wisdom of the boards. :)

Edit; I am on that ancient windows 98 2nd edition.

Reformat. That normally solves most problems (but can be a real pain in the preverbial if you've got loads of stuff you wanna keep) :)

If you have another hard disk, get all the stuff you want in there then reformat the primary drive.

[IMG] I love the simplicity of that plan. If you were a woman Ark, I would kiss you.

I am transfering files at this very moment.

Why does he have to be a woman? Aren't you 100% confident in your sexuality, Nobby?

    Rule #8:

The easy way is always mined.

    Rule #11:

When in doubt, empty the clip.

(best rules to administer Windows by...)

Did you try to rin windows in safe mode, and deleted the drivers from there?

Or unistalling the current video drivers, then when windows loaded uninstalled the old ones.

Reformat is just a big pain

Personally if I can fix a hardware issue just by uninstalling a few drivers I will, It takes less time then reinstalling my os, drivers, programs, patches, etc

[IMG] The problem with the asus driver was that it couldn't be uninstalled when the asus graphics card wasn't in. Lame programming.

Nevermind, after putting in my windows CD to reboot and formatting drive C, it suddenly worked. Heh. It didn't like beeing threatened.

EDIT; PS. Sir Yerril, I have heard that kissing men is, Almost, but entirely unlike kissing women. Or was that tea. crips. I always forget.
