Grrr a couple of sticking problems

    [​IMG] 'K, two problems on my hands, and they both cause the game to crash. Here they are:-

    1: - Whenever I rest, the game sticks after the little resting movie plays. Also now, when I rest this dream sequence comes up, and it still fails to load after that. It sticks wherever I rest, be it outside or in an inn. I have installed Unfinished Business, Ease of Use and G3 Tweaks. I installed the component whereby you are able to rest anywhere from Ease of Use, but I've now uninstalled that.

    2: - I have installed the Jerry Zinger show, and whenever I enter through the door to get to the "studio", it crashes, the screen goes blac and I have to Ctrl+Alt+Del it and close it down.

    Is there any way I can correct either of these problems, especially the first one? It's very annoying, especially when you have Aerie constantly whining, "Ohhh, my legs are just aching. I've never walked so much in my life! Can...can we rest now, please?" Grrrr!

    @Zenastin - lol :D I did do that once, actually...then realised I hadn't saved it for eons and I needed her for my romance...oops!

    1: I believe there's an item mod somewhere that includes a potion from IWD called "Berduskan Black Brew", which is supposed to be coffee and erases the effects of fatigue. Or, there's always putting ' Disable Movies=1 ' in your baldur.ini file (don't remember where, exactly) to get rid of all the movies so it wouldn't stick. Barring that, I'd say a re-install (minus the Rest Anywhere component) is in order.

    2: Sounds like a bad install or a major mod conflict. What order did you install your mods in?

    @Felinoid - 1: I re-installed it, and that didn't help. Now I've uninstalled it, and that hasn't helped either.

    2: I did G3, Ease of Use then UB, I think. Not too sure, it was about two weeks ago and I can't remember that far back.

    EDIT: It doesn't really matter now - I just uninstalled everything then uninstalled the game, then reinstalled stuff that I felt I really had to have, so I didn't do the rest anywhere thing and it's working fine now. :cool:

    For future reference generally it is best to install tweak packs last, in case they need to patch items added by other mods.
