Ok i've got this book of useless information for an early xmas present, and in it it has some very interesting American Laws. The question is from which states? Guess the blanks, they're all states (or the part of a state and a state if it's two or more blanks)

    1. A V______ Law requires all bathtubs to be kept out in the yards, not inside the house.

    2. In A______ it is illegal to shoot a moose from the window of an aeroplane or other flying vehicle.

    3. In M________ it is illegal to wash or scrub a sink regardless of how dirty it is.

    4. In T______ it is illegal to put graffiti on someone elses cow.

    5. In K______ it is illegal to carry ice cream in your back pocket.

    6. In C______ it is illegal to eat oranges while bathing.

    7. Every citizen of ______ is required by law to take a bath at least once a year. (no letter for this one, i'll let you speculate :heh: )

    8. In some parts of A_______ it is illegal to carry a comb in your back pocket.

    9. In O_________ it is illegal to hunt whale.

    10. It is against the law to ride down the streets of B______, A_______, in a motorboat.(the state is the A and the town/city is the B)

Ok hope someone replies to this, and i'll post the answers after a few people guess.

Vermont, Arkansas, Maine, Texas, Kansas, California, (Tennessee or Kentucky), Alabama, Oregon.

The last one is a total tossup. Alabama or Arkansas; either are totally par for the course. They're South of the M/D line... ;)

Close on quite a few Deviant Mage, but not quite on some still. You got 4/10 right. Still no-one has got numbers 1,3 or smelly number 7 correct.

C'jakob - you got 1. right. But 3 and 7 still no-ones got (and still no-ones got more than 4 in one go). You were waaaay off with both Hawaii and Alaska for 7.

    8people - 5/10
    Nutrimat - 5/10

    People are getting better.

Ok quick recap. 3 and 7 are still not correct by anyone. 9 is not Ohio. Number 10, just go for the state as i doubt anyone will get the city/town.

Number 7 (the smelly one) isn't - Tennensee, New Jersey, Hawaii, Alaska, or Utah. Im not going to give the letter since that would give it away in 2 guesses (that's a hint, if you think about it).

Good luck to anyone else who attempts this :thumb:

5/10. Ok since everyone seems to get certain ones right. I will now state that -

    1. Is Virginia
    2. Is Alaska
    4. Is Texas
    and 5. Is Kentucky.

I leave the rest up to those who still wish to guess.

    Hint
    3. Begins with M but is not - Maine, Montana, Missouri, Michigan, Mississipi or Massachussettes. Come on now, there can't be that many states begginning with 'M' now, can there?

Could someone tell me why they have this kind of odd laws in stats of America?

Malaysia is also an union between states like U.S. but they drew clear lines as what is state issue and federation issue so we don't usually have odd laws like the Americans, except 3 states that practice some Muslim laws.
