Guild Wars open beta weekend

    [​IMG] I just downloaded the client and played for an hour... So far so good. I made a ranger/warrior character and got through the tutorial, then had a great time doing one of the missions with another player and a AI henchman. This is definitely a step above the typical MMORPG. The graphics are pretty cool too.

    I went and tried it myself, but I must say the game is pretty good. In fact, I like it! Had great fun roaming around with other players. I even co-founded a guild in the short time I was there. Beta testing until the 31st so enjoy it while you can. Going in there for another sortie tomorrow.

    I sort of got tired of it quickly. Let's just hope it's because of all the cuts they made for the demo version and not any major game-breakers. I really want this game to succeed.

    Well, the beta's over. I made a few friends the short time I was there :) . The game is slightly different from other MMORPGs.. I kinda liked its style. The player interaction is great, and because there won't be any monthly fees, I just might go out and get this game when it comes out. Wonder what the full version is gonna be like.

    I was going to post, but i was too addicted. :D
    I'm having withdrawal symptoms already.

    Anyway, this game is going to be the taker of roughly 60% of my day from release on.
