In relation to the off topic :yot: (I just had to try out that symbol) questions about Halberds in the sword section.
Here are some of the stats to some good ones:

Dragons breath +4 THAC0 +5 various element dmg.

    the Drow Halberds were +3

    Blackmist +4 S.A. 3 x a day Blindness (save vs wand)

Duskblade a +2 weapon aswell as an additional =2 fire dmg.

Wave +4 15% chance of additional 15dmg (from draining water)

    Harmonium +3 -1wis, -1int, +1str

    I hope this helps :)

I'm still trying to figure out the attraction to these things. Way too clunky for my liking. Now maybe if I were an orc...

    Anyway without too many spoilers...

Actually, I forgot where this is.

I think this one is fairly obvious. They are also quite prevalant there. Just remember, they cannot be exposed to the surface world.

There are 3 parts you must gather before this can be forged by Cromwell; the jewel, the hilt, and the blade. IIRC, the jewel you can get very early in the game; you will get the blade in the Underdark after fighting a particular Beholder, and; you will get the hilt in the Shaghuan <sp?? - the fish people> City.

I'm not 100% certain about the hilt since I've only assembled this weapon once.

You will need either the Collector's Edition of SoA or Shadowkeeper to get this weapon. If you have the collector's edition you can purchase this, and other rare items, from Deidre. If you opt for Shadowkeeper, the item code is "WA2HALB"

Does anyone know if you can use Drow weapons if you smuggle them out of the underdark with your familiar?? or will they disintergrate? the armour doesn't.
I hope this isn't being too hipocritical with the off topic stuff

My guess would be no. Even if you managed to get it out of the Underdark by using your familiar, what good is it? The second you get take it off the familiar (however that is done), it will disintegrate. It's not like the familiar can use it, though I have to admit I'd love to see my pseudo dragon wield any weapon and try to attack!

@ spelladonna: uh what you described as Wave sounds more like the equalizer, from Wave I have the hilt and I think that only need the blade in addition to that to have Cromwell fix it.

That's right. The Wave needs the haft and the head. The haft is in the Planar Prison and the head is with the Sahuagin.

Oh, and BTW, the Equaliser hilt is with the Mind Flayers in the Underdark, not the Sahuagin.

Halberd locations (ones that I don't think have been revealed in this thread yet):

Dragon's Breath - Solaufein commands you to join him in rescuing Phaere from Mind Flayers. On your way to the east portion of the Underdark, you'll get ambushed by some evil adventurers. Dragon's Breath is carried by an Ogre named Boz.

Blackmist - To get this, you must sacrifice the real Silver Dragon Eggs to the Demon Lord during the ritual, and then ask for a powerful magic item in return. Not worth it since you lose out on the huge XP bonus that comes with returning the eggs to Adalon.

There is also a halberd called Dragon's Bane +3 that does extra damage to dragons... it's found in the lair of the Unseeing Eye.

I THINK the Duskblade is found on Shadow Patrick or the Shade Lord, at the end of the Umar Hills quest.

The Harmonium is part of the bonus merchants pack, Deidre in the Adventurer's Mart.

Which do you use if you use it?
    Which is your favourite?

My preference is Dragons Breath +4 as it doesnt do just slashing damage but also a bit of every elemental damage in the game.
I use it with Valygar (changed his proficients :p ).
AND its great for disrupting spellcasters since it breaks through stoneskin and similiar defences.
The only weakness it has is the possibility of target negate elemental damage with a single magic resistance effect. So if it drops in it negates all 5 elemental damage points. But in SoA that doesnt happen often.
