NWVault has posted an interview with Ghool, who is the author of the S1 - Tomb of Horrors module inducted into their Hall of Fame Here's a snip:

    2) Your module, "S1 - Tomb of Horrors ", which has over 8600 downloads and has recently been inducted into our Hall of Fame. Could you tell our readers what the module is about?

The adventure starts with the party travelling to a region in the Bright Desert (the reasons for being there are for the player's or DM to fill-in). The intent was to create an adventure that any DM could use as a part of an existing campaign, akin to an actual Pencil and Paper module. From there, the party has to explore the desert in search of the dreaded Tomb of Horrors. I included two side-quests to add a bit more variety, and flavour to the module, as well as to allow the party to solidify their tactics, and to learn how to better work as a team. Which is needed greatly later on.
I won't reveal much about the side-quests, aside from the fact that they are non-essential to the main-body of the adventure, but the rewards for completing them make the job of locating, and surviving the Tomb significantly easier.

The Tomb itself is contructed as a labyrinth and death-trap. Traps and monsters meant to strip the party of their equipment, dignity, and lives are in abundance. A great deal of the experience points are granted for solving puzzles, and exploration. I did add a lot more monsters and combat than the original module cited. So, overall, it's a mainly module of puzzle-solving and exploration, with a bit of deadly epic combat to spice things up.
