Halo 2 for the PC?

    So as of right now, Halo 2 is only for the crummy X-Box.

    Does anyone know if, or when they will release the game for the PC? :rolling:

    Given how much more I enjoyed Halo for the PC, I certainly hope it'll be done. Let Halo 2 come to the true home of the fps. Let mouse aim give those X-Box Live chumps what for!

    That said, I wouldn't bet on it at least 'till 360 and its Halo 1 and 2 pack is out. Wouldn't want to tempt any X-Box fan boys to the Light Side, now would we?

    Indeed!

    My stupid brother, and two of the guys I work with claim they "rule" at Halo 1 and 2 on the X-Box...but if there was a way to hook a X-Box to a LAN, I would blow them all away. Those stupid controlers are no match for the mouse/keyboard combo! :rolling:

    The company responsible for Halo 2 haven't stated that they'll port it to the PC. To be honest, if they were intending to, they'd have made a statement about it by now probably.

    Which is a shame. I've heard it's rather good, as console games go.

    er, it took 'em forever to port Halo to the PC. Don't see any reason they'd be faster with the sequel.

    Besides, who cares? We've got Half-Life 2, Farcry, Battlefield 2, Call of Duty...

    id imagine that theyll wait another 6 months to a year...took em 3 yrs to port halo 1 to the pc iirc

    Can't see why anyone'd bother, when there's such awesome stuff as Counterstrike! :)

    Besides, Halo's the same as Unreal Tournament and Quake, run around shooting unrealistic weapons while wearing geeky suits.
