[IMG] Everytime i buy a new game, i like to really dig into it, read manuals, forums etc... One thing that really bothers me, is guys who diss someone for using a specific 'special'-character. It really bugs me - leave the guy alone. Who cares if someone wants to play a club-using necromancer, a horny dwarf, a ranger/cleric or whatever... It's his choice, and he should be able to make such a choice without getting flamed, dissed and kicked all over... I'm not judging anyone, because the people who's saying these things, have, of course, the right to say this. (it's a free net!) But i just don't think it's a polite thing to do. I sure as hell wasn't raised to kick peoples a$$ if they made a choice i wouldn't have made. My point is, if someone wishes to explore a game with a slightly different approach than anyone else, i think it's only making the game a bit more fun and enjoyable (mp)... I'm not just talking about BG2, but a lot of other games as well... and remember, this is just my thoughts. You have every right to think im a complete idiot or agree totally with me. ;)

[IMG] I think people should just be decent with their comments. If you don't like a class and some one does, argue if you want. It makes for an enjoyable forum. But don't get personal and start bashing the other person. Choices are choices, and since either person could be wrong depending on how someone looks at it, people shouldn't start going off like they're the almighty god of RPG's and it's their way or the high way. Act decent and you might convince others your view is right.

Right on! Everyone has his or her idea of what's fun. I've seen in other forums people putting down folks who like to play kensai-mages, for instance. Why? if it's fun for them, let them alone!
