Not everyone is American on these boards but still, Happy Independence Day everyone! Lets hope all the barbeques went smoothly and no one exploded themselves with fireworks! The "color code alert" didn't phase anyone in the south because no one stayed home and to cheesily quote a local news crew, "This weekends color code was red, white, and blue!"

    And no America bashing!

Mine was mostly a workday, althoug I did pause for a barbeque.

Now, I just wish I could get my cat's claws out of my back. Like most animals, she does not like Fireworks, and all the neighborhood seems to be firing them off.

It's been relatively quiet here, barring the party that I threw at my house. Good thing I don't have to work tomorrow :) .

Sorry I got to this thread a little late.

This 4th of July was awsome! I spet about $40 on fireworks, when I got a phone call anouncing that I had won a raffel for a huge box of assorted fireworks. The box usually sells for $300. I was so happy...that is, until I tried to fit the big box in to my girlfriend's car. I had to cut the box in half just so it could fit in to her trunk. I wasn't able to set them all off in one night either. :rolling:
