I booted Yeslick from my party for a few moments to see what I wanted as my finalized party. When I decided to keep him, I got his dialog from the first time you speak to him and then all his stuff was RESET! Every item I gave him, every level I earned with him, gone...has this happened to anyone else?

That's very strange, and I can tell you what happened, but not why. This seems to be a case of him being replaced by the original CRE file. I can't say I've ever had the same thing happen to me, but then I've never kicked Slick out if I actually take him.

Ummm. This may seem an odd question but where did you kick him out and have him rejoin you at?

I kicked him out in Durlag's Tower. I did that because I wasn't sure how many party members I wanted. I had him for a while and really liked him, but I wanted to see if just my PC, Coran, and Kivan would do well enough. Needless to say, I dumped him after I discovered all of the progress I made with him became void.

Edit: I also saved after I booted him, because I cleared out those Basilisks and just felt like saving, not knowing what happened.

Just console back in his xp and equipment, the only difference would be his kill ratio.

Nah, I already moved on and beat it again. I only wanted to know the cause and if it happened to anyone else.

I had the same problem sometime ago.. Don't remember where I kicked him out of my party, but it wasn't in the mines.
