Heart of Winter

    I just finished Icewind Dale. The credits rolled and that was it. Game Over.

    Now I start up a new game of HOW with my faithful characters who just spanked the Demon and Kuldahar is gone. My questions:

    Is there any way to beat the demon (final battle of IWD) and still start HOW in the same game? Or do you have to go through the steps I did to start HOW?

    If I would have accepted the Hjoller-dude's offer and gone to the Frozen North with him before dispatching of the Demon Poquelin, would I have been allowed to return to Kuldahar and the IWD parts of the map?

    Thanks. Any replies would be helpful. Hope this isn't too confusing.

    You can do HOW before doing the last battles and still return to Kulduhar to finish the game. Just do not go up the last stairs in Lower Dorn's Deep until you have done HOW.
