HELP!!!! badges got them all but it says i didnt

    i gotten all 6 badges ive made sure..
    checked and doubled checked....
    but it says i didnt!! Now is there a way to cheat the my way past?
    please tell there is i really dont want to export my characters and start over..
    i mean come on there has to be a way??????

    I think you should read through the walk through and see if there was a certain portion of the chapter which you have not finished. You do know about the doors or locks the badges unlock right?

    [​IMG] yes i do know about the badges and the stairs they unlock......
    see what happen was i killed marvolon(i think thats how its spelled...)
    in the beginning of the chapter so i know i got his badge but it says i dont so..
    i went back and checked and i did get it cause its not there.....
    i really dont want to start over!!!
    i hope there is a way to go around that...
    open for sugesstions......

    The badges all have to be in your inventory when you press the switches. If some badge is not in your inventory, you can't press the corresponding switch. It's not enough to have picked up a badge once upon a time. You have to keep it.

    Badges do decay. Or at least they did in the original version. That was supposed to have been fixed in one of the patches, but it's not clear that it was. People continue to have problems, anyway.

    There are cheat codes which allow you to get items, including the badges, but I don't know what the code names for the badges are. I think I saw somewhere that the code for Ilmadia's badge is "Ilmadia", so you could try the same for Malavon's badge. You need the patches to use the cheats.

    sometimes that page wont load for me.

    anyway, 1st you need patch 1.05 or later installed for this to work:

    edit your icewind.ini file w/ notepad. add this line under 'Game Options', Cheats=1 then hit enter.

    hit Ctrl. and Tab during play to bring up cheat window.

    type this in cheat window exactly how you see it here
    CHEATERSDOPROSPER:CreateItem("MALAVON")

    the code for each badge are the name's of each owner always in caps except for Ilmadia's is MAIDEN. hope this helps.
