I finally have BG1 working, and thusly... I want to play my first FULL game from BG1-ToB. I plan on playing BG in the classic mode, not the Tutu, (I have installed Tutu, but I'll just not use the BGMain.exe).

Here's the deal. I want to play through the game as some interesting class. This interesting class is going to be some melee class. This interesting melee class is going to use some of the better weapons in the game and not spears or mods other than Banter/Baldurdash/Unfinished Business.

So far my thoughts are a Fighter through BG1, (and my understanding is you can take a kit when you start BG2), and go Kensai BG2. I've very rarely played a kensai, mostly berserkers because I like the immunity to imprisoning effects. I want to avoid being a cleric because I'm tired of wielding mediocre weapons like the crom faeyr and flail of ages, (and although many people will bite my head off for calling either of them mediocre, it just so happens to be the fact of that matter that neither of those weapons can truly match up to a good Chees-o-myr or Black-My-Foot-Up-You-Butt-razor, (lol).

Anyways, I also just beat the game with a fighter/dual-cleric. I have thought of going Mage, but I know I would end up becomming a full time Mage, not too keen/sure about doing so. I'm not 100% set on melee either, so basically I'm lookin' at the options and I want some ideas/people to incite my interest in choosing a class, (in fact now I'm thinking sorcerer haha).

Only classes I won't play for sure are Bard, Wild Mage, Assassin, Stalker, Druid, Cleric. I am only looking at using those classes which exist in the regular game, and only those NPC's as well. Let the ideas flow as I know everyone here has a billion of them and my brain needs a jump start. The other thing is I'd like to keep the party all Non-evil or all Non-good, it's just awkward having it both ways.

P.S. I still haev the save read to do Edwin's: "Cast a Billion Spells in a single time stop", I'm just never in the mood to actually get it done haha.
