I want to have a party with the following classes.

    1. Fighter with Paladin
    2. Rogue with Fighter
    3. Wizard
    4. Sorcerer
    5. Cleric
    6. Cleric (do i need another one)

Im not sure what stats I should put for each class. Especially I have problems with the first two. I want to chage from paladin to fighter at level 3 or somthing.

    Thanks. :p

    1. Paladin of Helm, 4 levels of Fighter.

Max CHA and the rest into STR and CON.

    2. Personally Rogue with Ranger I like, because of the free dual wield feats. Rangers and Fighters have equal BAB.

MAX Dex, rest into STR and CON.

    3. Wizard? Why not bard? Wizards are a bit limited.

    4. Sorcerer. Max CHA and DEX.

    5. Cleric. Pick your favourite Domain. Check the spells on SP here.

Max WIS. Good STR and CON and some CHA for turning undead.

    6. Another cleric? Go for druid or even monk. Deep Gnome Monks are really cool.

    3. Rogue Fighter
    4. Sorcerer

i can finish the game on hard with no hacking with a
    • drow sorcerer
    • drow cleric- dreadmaster of bane.
the cleric is mainly used to heal but is also a good fighter.

Welcome to Boards o' Magick Shilk and Urgahzi! :thumb:

Shilk, 3 levels of paladin don't give you much. Fighter 4/Paladin x is better.

Sorcerers don't need intelligence for spells, since they don't have to scribe them in their spellbooks. However, intelligence affects how many skill points you have.
Wild elf sorcerers are good. You could also take one level of bard (to get bard song) for him/her.

Sorcerers use charisma for spells, only wizards use int. For all classes but wizards, int is only used for skill points and a modifier for the alchemy, disable device, knowledge(arcana), search, and spellcraft skills. Max out the cha for your sorcerer. Despite the ECL, many consider aasimars to make the best sorcerers, while most others favor humans. There is no real reason to make a rouge/fighter. Clerics need max wis. Do not give them more than a +1 dex mod as they can wear heavy armor. If you want a fighter with a few paladin levels, use only 1 or 2. The first one will give you improved saves based on your charisma, and the second will give you the aura of courage. You don't get much that is useful for the 3rd level. (turning undead is useless for a multiclass character, and you don't need the remove disease). For mellee characters make sure you maximize str and con, and no more dex than the aromor you plan for them allows. Avoid dropping wisdom to the minimum as that will make you vulnerable to certain spells, and don't decrease str below 10 for any class that wears armor (for those you can get by with 8) or you will not be able to carry your equipment.

[IMG] I think I have finalised my party.
I just want to double check if this will work

    1. Paladin Helm x/Fighter4 (Human)
    2. Barabrian x/Fighter 4 (Half-Orc)
    3. Rogue x/Ranger 1(Moon Elf)
    4. Sorcerer (Wild Elf)
    5. Cleric of Oghma (Human)
    6. Wizard (Moon Elf)

    Is human suitable for paladin?
    (last question)

Either human or aasimar. Aasimars get +2 to wisdom and charisma and they have resistances to some elements, but they have level adjustment. Humans get one feat and some skill points for free. Personally, I'd pick aasimar, because paladin needs so many abilities.
