help please - bug workaround

    i was just playing tob the other day and just after killing gromnir melissan did NOT appear and my last save was the beggining of tob so i was not in the mood. if anyone knows the variable i have to change/add in the game i would appreciate it. i tried changing "MELLISANYAGAKILLJOB" to true and that allowed me to go outside saradush but i can't get beyond that point for some reason.

    Happened before to me aswell, no way around it, start a new game and install the patch + fix pack. It is only early on in the game anyway.

    If you used the cheat keys to move yourself to the Pocket Plane would the game continue on from there?

    I've never had the problem myself so I can't say whether it would work or not but its worth a try.

    I have the patch installed and any fixes. this is the 10+ time i've played the game with the patched version and this never happened. I guess i'll have to start form the beginning if there is no way but still i'm sure there's some variable somewhere.

    Try the following:

    Return to the area where you killed Gromnir. Make sure the game does not think you're in combat. Make sure the game knows Gromnir is dead. Check by entering the following:

    CLUAConsole:GetGlobal("SPRITE_IS_DEADGROMNIR","global")

    This should return 1. Then enter the following:

    CLUAConsole:SetGlobal("DeathOfGromnir","GLOBAL",0)

    Hopefully, this will do the trick.
