Help Wanted - SoU Walkthrough Writer

    [​IMG] A position in the upper SP echelon (Walkthrough Scribes) is available.

    Are you any good at writing walkthroughs? Have any previous work to show, which would qualify you instantly, or just a burning passion for a game and solid determination to write an excellent walkthrough for it? That's great, and you might be exactly who we're looking for!

    Currently we could employ a walkthrough writer for the Neverwinter Nights expansion Shadows of Undrentide. Sorcerer's Place is an excellent place to write an online walkthrough for. We already have a fan base big enough that you can be sure every day hundreds will be reading the walkthrough you publish on SP, and you will also get a lot of feedback and publicity.     Sorcerer's Place is a non-profit fansite (i.e. what little money we make goes to pay for the server & hosting costs), so we can't really pay our staffers anything, but when you post something here, you can be sure your work will be noticed by thousands visiting us daily. It's also a good way to learn about how the gaming industry works, if this field interests you. Being a member of the SP team also gives you unlimited bragging rights since you can point at SP and tell your friends you're one of the people making it tick!

    The requirements for anyone wanting to apply for the above position:

    - Solid html knowledge and computer experience. Solution content, screenshots etc. will be delivered on templates provided by SP.

    - ICQ installed & used daily highly desirable.

    - Geting SoU as soon as it is released and starting to write the solution the same day.

    - Actual interest in what you will be doing. If you think you will be able to do this every day till it is complete even if you're not interested in it, forget it. You will grow bored and disappear. DO NOT APPLY if what you want to do does not interest you.

    - Good knowledge of the English language (grammar, spelling etc.)

    Benefits:

    - Full tutoring on how the content is to be delivered.

    - Your own page in the About Us section of SP.

    - Instant recognition on the forums via a staff custom title and a custom avatar/portrait of your choice.

    - Your own whatever<at>sorcerers.net mail alias.

    - Voice status in the chatroom + ahead of the line promotion for ops, should you qualify.

    Catches:

    - Eternal torment in the flames of the Abyss should you fail to deliver the solution, or stop somewhere in the middle.
