    [IMG] I think this post belongs in this forum since I downloaded the portraits from this wonderful place. :D

    Copy/paste from the BG1 Readme:

    =====================================

    Custom Portraits

    The measurements for player portraits are 38X60 pixels for the small ones
    (8-bit color only) and 110X170 pixels for the large ones. Put these in
    the Portraits directory (in the install directory for the game) and add a
    S to the end of the small portrait name and an L to the end of the large
    portrait.
    ============================================

    Ok....
    Where is the Portraits directory/Install directory located?
    I can't find them. For BG1.

    Some nice ones I found. RaistStaff will make a great Mage! :thumb:

    Well that all depends on where you installed the game. If you went with the default location it will be C/Program Files/Black Isle/Baldurs Gate. Or something close to that.

    All you need to do is find your Baldurs Gate folder, open it up and create a new folder named Portraits inside the Baldurs Gate folder. From there put all your custom portriats in the Portraits folder and you'll be good to go.

    Ah... Thanks.

    A portraits folder was already there for BG2, but not for BG1. The Readme confused me some... Ok... More than some.

    *runs off to do just that*

    -I figured I'd guess wrong on the forum. I was 50/50 between here and Sundries.
