Help with Edwin

    I agree Bodhi offer, and now I cannot get the Mear' whathever quest to get Edwin what should I do? BTW I do not have a older save game before I agree Bodhi's offer, I'd like a no cheasy tactic *if* possible

    You're screwed. Once you accept Bohdi's offer, the Shadow Theives will have nothing to do with you. So, since you can't talk to Aran Linvail in the Theives' Guild, you can't get MaeVar's quest, and you can't get Edwin. If you don't have another saved game from before accepting her offer you're SOL.

    You might be able to get old Edwin if you complete the whole Bodhi assigned quest package. Then walk into Mae'Var's guildhouse and kill everyone there. You won't see Edwin, but you might be able to pick him up at the Copper Coronet afterwards. I don't know for sure, but that might work. It's worth a try!

    BTW, save more often and you won't have such horrid conundrums!

    Sigh... I think I will have to restart my game then, I realy like Edwin, anyway I'll change my "one save game" mind!

    I'm going off the theory that after you've done the Mae'var series of quests, Edwin offers to join your group. If you turn him down, he tells you that he will be at the Copper Coronet, and you can find him there. I'm guessing that if the whole Mae'var issue is solved (ie the whole guildhouse is dead), then perhaps he'll go there anyway. It depends on what triggers his presence in the game variables. That's my logic, anyhow. A real hacker will be able to tell you more.
