3rd Marponeth
Having breakfasted and purchased a horse for Majikus, our heroes set forth. Two days of uneventful travel took them to Mornbryn's Shield. There, the talk was of the discovery of doppleganger bodies south of the village, which explained a missing person problem they had been having. The party said nothing of their involvement and rode out the next morn.

5th Marponeth
The following afternoon the party had split into two groups and the lead group were ambushed passing through a ravine. Barbarians charged down the slope throwing spears and swinging greataxes. Hayden, Milla and particularly Jakob were hit. Mistle slept one and struck another with her rapier. After a ferocious fight the barbarians were vanquished. One was captured alive and questioned. They were intent on recapturing their tribal hunting grounds - including Nesme. Grothar the barbarian prefered death in battle to the dishonour of imprisonment so Hayden obliged.
They rode on to the Jolly Friar Inn where Majikus and the others caught up. Rafferty was disturbed to hear the Uthgart were on the south bank of the Surbrin.

6th Marponeth
Another days ride took them to Nesme. They made an appointment to see Jygil at 4pm. Garacaius determined that Mistle's rapier was 'magic'. A trip to Polinas's gained Garacaius a Colour spray scroll and Jakob learned the Forkbeard bolt was coated with contact poison.
