hot water heaters

    [​IMG] Why is it called a hot water heater? I mean, if it's already hot, why do you need to heat it? Should be called a cold water heater.

    Because it is a heater that makes water hot? Or maybe because after the first heating of a new tank, the water that it is heating is really already hot and it is making it hotter? :)

    But really the things are typically called "water heaters" by the manufacturer, neither hot nor cold.
