Hotkeys for spells...?

    [​IMG] In IWD1 you were able to assign hotkeys (A, Z, E, R, ...) for the use of your spells. I don't mean the three slots for "quick spells", but a list of all the spells in the game, next to which you could assign a certain hotkey for that spell...
    In IWD1 you could find that list in your configuration screen...

    These hotkeys are a really useful tool in mid-combat, where time makes all the difference... But I can't assign them in IWD2!!! It's not in the config. screen, it's not in the option screen, ...

    It really pisses me off, certainly because I had those hotkeys in IWD1! Is there a way I can still assign those HOTKEYS in IWD2...?

    [by the way, I have an official copy of the game, and I installed the 2.01-beta patch, for as far as that matters...]

    Apparently not, now that you mention it... I've never used this option myself, so I never noticed it's missing in IWD2.

    In IWD1 you could not use the config program to change the "select all" option, however if you copy pasted that part from the keymap.ini file from baldurs gate 1, and to iwd1's keymap.ini it worked. try doing the same with IWD1 and IWD2 keymap.ini's i dont know if it works, since i never used those spells that much on keys (only mirror image in bg1)

    Just keep your original ini around, and if there are any problems, simply revert back to that.
