HotU Mimic (stole my ring)!?!

    Ok I am stuck at the mimic thing in chapter 3.

    Ok i go in and he steals my armor like all the walkthroughs say he should... no problem, but he also steals my puzzle ring. I can't get through the blue bars. Can anyone help I have been to every site, and I seem to be the only one with this problem. One site said use the polomorph (sp?) amulet, but I still can't get past the bars even in fairy form. I am stuck any help would be great, and thanks.

    I think you're screwed. That never happened to me. You should probably look around various guides to see if you can find a console command to create a new ring, because that isn't supposed to happen.

    OK, first of all, DON'T PANIC! There is in fact a console command. Press the key to the left of No. 1 to open the console.
    NOW, THE COMMANDS ARE CASE SENSTIVE SO ENTER THEM EXACTLY LIKE IN HERE!

    DebugMode 1
    dm_spawnitem hx_puzzle_ring

    This will create the ring you need at the spot your mouse will be pointing. Then all you'll have to do is pick it up and wear it. When you wear it the bars will swap, the ones open to you will close and the ones closed will open!
