Is there any quest that will make you go into the house in the Docks District that has the Silver Horn of Vahalla? From an RPG view, being a good party, I hate to just break into empty houses and rob them.

I have the same problem with the Guarded Compound in the Temple District. Why would I challange them after entering? In the compound, I guess you could cast detect alignment and find that they are evil. Then it would make more sense to challange them instead of just leaving politly. Except, the dialog happens before you could do the spell.

In both cases there are important items to get, so I 'must' break in. But I would prefer a quest reason to do so.

IIRC there isn't any quest. The same is with the Guarded Compound.

IIRC when you install Nalia's love mod, you can get a quest that you need to get the scroll about the contract from a guy in the Guarded Compound.

If you have Nalia and do her sub-quest a certain way you end up with a document proving her family enemy, Isaea Roenal, is a slave trader. The document notes that he sold some slaves to some people in the Temple area...

There isn't any quest to get the Silver Horn of Valhalla in the Docks District, since the SHoV is NOT in the Docks District. It's in the house by the fishmonger in the BRIDGE District.

And no, there's no associated quest for that house, either. I believe this was supposed to be related to Haer'Dalis' cut quest involving th Balthis Estate (which in the standard game serves no purpose, either).

The Chloe mod will send you to the house with the Silver Horn of Valhalla during Chapter 3.
