How Can I Kill Xvim?

    Blunt weapons seem to work best, but anything that is +4 or +5 should do fine. The greatswords of the soulless +5 you can get from the Slayer Knights seemed to work well. Other than that, buff real good before the battle and have some of your party attack Xvim right away while the others wipe out the demons. Once it is just you and Xvim you should have no problems. If he is focusing on one party member, then have that character run around the room drinking potions to heal and while Xvim is chasing him/her let the others attack him. Also, Riki (the drow merchant on the 4th floor of the main tower) sells +5 arrows so buy some and use them...

    This fight is tough, but Xvim can be beaten.

    cast skull trap and delayed fireball at where his minions is suppose to appear beforehand. jam the center with summons. let your summons take the pain first. keep on summoning as you see your minions fall one by one. meanwhile attack xvim with ranged weapons and spells. when he is out of spells (so are you), give all out with your melee fighter.
