How do you reopen the door to the painting?

    I just booted up my old laptop that had a saved game on it where my party was in the Ice Temple. I'm trying to make sure that I finished everything (I think I did, but the game is dated from around Easter). However, somehow I caused the doorway leading to the painting that controls the magic staircase to disappear. I can't get through to the painting.
    How do I reopen the door? It's been a long time since I played.

    I tried to, but the AI can't find a path to get to it. My character just "twitches" outside the doorway that leads to the painting.

    [​IMG] there's an invisible door before the room. i know what you mean, this is a weird door. maybe if your thief Searches, you can detect it and open it...
    Maybe it needs something to let you pass. do you have one of those aurilite necklaces with you?

    Yep, it was the necklace. I had to be wearing it, not just carrying it in my inventory. On the plus side, I did find a couple unlooted containers and am now ready to start the next chapter.
