How to kill adamantine golems?

    [​IMG] I believe you need +3 or better wweapon to hit. It is also 90% immune to weapon damage which is why it take so little damage per hit.

    Melf's Minute Meteors (considered +5 weapon)is an excellent spell to use against this golem! It's excellent against almost anything by the way. :)

    [​IMG] slings fire bullets and bullets are considered as *blunt* weapons *wink*, especially a certain sling of everard that fires unlimited ghost bullets.

    A throwing dagger (returning) named firetooth is also quite effective on them.

    The fact is that first of all you need a +3 weapon just to hit the blighter. the reason why the damage is useless is not cos he has resistance but will only take a maximum of two damage on each hit. Critical hits can score up to 4 points of damage i think.
    Basically you need as many people on it as possible to get the beast down as quickly as possible.

    Avooch: Yeah, the minimum damage dealt to him IS because of its resistance to damage. Like a little floating head we all know, he only takes minimal damage because of physical factors, like being made of adamantium, or in the heads case, only being a head. It is not a set amount of damage like 2 that it deals. With larger weapons you can theoretically do more than 2 damage, or 4 on criticals.

    sorry i thought you meant like magic resistance. Cos i hit him with every stroke. I thought ou meant that most of your hits would be nil because of resistance. example:

    Sir Dargorn: critical hit
    Adamantium golem: resistance
    Adamantium golem: damage taken:0

    see what i am getting at?? :D :D :D

    i thought it was crushing weapons but im not sure either. but im not the one to tell. i just use all my cheated :D chars. to attack wether they can or not.
