How to kill Irenicus?

    i've been fighting irenicus for about 30 minuets now. At first he was fighting with the spells and everything, but now he just stands there and i've been hitting him with no more than 30 points of damage at a time i've done everything with the tree and all that. he wont die he just keeps on staying at "near death" and me and my uncle can figure out what to do any ideas or is this just another stupid bug in this bloody game?

    It's another "stupid bug". I've had this happen too. Just reload and try again.

    Irenicus can never actually die. Whenever you take 96 hitpoints off of him, he should initiate a dialogue or the trip to The Nine Hells.
