[IMG] Today in the chatroom we were talking about one spell from BG1 and if it is possible to get the scroll thru console window in BG2. I tried to find a code for scroll, however it seems that scroll of it does not exist in BG2 (SPWI402 - Dimension Door). If that's BI glitch or not I don't know, but that thing made me post this.

    Step one:
You need to enable usage of the Console window. How to do it is described in "Power Users.txt" file in main BG2 folder.

    Step two:
Start/Load your game and open the Console with CTRL+SPACE.

    Step three:
Move the pointer (hand) on the party member you want him/her to learn the spell i.e. Imoen.

    Step four:
    In console type:
CLUAConsole:AddSpell("SPWIxxx") for mages or their combos
    or
CLUAConsole:AddSpell("SPPRyyy") for clerics and druids or their combos

Your NPC learns the spell and gets XP related to successful learning of that spell (if that spell wasn't learned before of course).

Now, you can get all the spells not alowed for a specialist mage, you can add specific druid spells to cleric, you can learn spells that there is no scroll of them in the game, etc.

    ------------
The complete list of spells related xxx and yyy is a big one. Values for xxx and yyy can vary from 101 to 999, but not every single number.

    Some values for xxx:
    101-108, 110-120, 123-125, 201-203, 205-215, 217-221, 223-224, 299, 301-314, 316-322, 324-326, 401-421, 423-425, 501-523, 601-609, 611-625, 701-705, 707-708, 710-722, 802-805, 807-813, 815-817, 902-903, 905, 907-917

    Some values for yyy:
    101-111, 113, 201-214, 301-315, 317-319, 401-417, 501-517, 601-614, 701-713, 715, 717-720
    -------------

You can download Infinity Engine Explorer, start it and see in section Spells what exact spell is related to a certain spell number (xxx or yyy).

Of course, if Tal aloows it, I'll post complete list of spell names with their codes.

Last note: To me the most interesting spell you can get this way is SPWI124 - Nahal's Reckless Dweomer. So I started a new topic about it.

teleport field, teleports enemies away from yourself, while dimension door allows you to teleport yourself to a place within sight
