[IMG] Has anyone encountered the two Philosophers at the marketplace
In Trademeet? They are arguing the merits of aggressive and passive
Philosophies. To prove his point the aggressive philosopher sicked his
Hired thug, Huntley, on the passive philosopher. I had Minsc in my
Party when I encountered them, he went berserk and Attacked Huntley,
Killing him. How many ways can this encounter be resolved?

I imagine by killing the thug, or at least Mazing or Holding him.

You can either let the passive philosopher die or you can save his life, but of course, you have to kill the thug to save his life and that's against his philosophy so he's not too happy with you then...

Interesting, what happens if you knock him down with your bare hands? That way he'll be unconscience.

What if you imprisoned him? It ends the fight, and it's not technically fighting so shouldn't anger the passive guy.

As for knocking him down with your bare hands, I'm not sure you could do it fast enough, as it doesn't take him long to kill the philosopher, and maybe the philosopher would still be mad, since you are still technically using violence. As for imprisonment or mazing, I have no clue. (I haven't tried any of these three possibilities, so they might still work).

I've looked into the dialog using the infinity explorer, and I can't find a solution in the dialog files, so it's probably not programmed, but feel free to check
