I Got Engaged!

    [​IMG] Well...I finally popped the question of marriage to my girlfriend of 4 years! :D

    So for anyone who's interested...here's how it went down:

    I bought the ring (that she mentioned she really like about 4 months ago) on Friday while she was stuck in lines (That's what she gets for shopping on "Black Friday"). Anyway, the next day we celebrated her birthday by going to the Little America Hotel Steakhouse, which is our favorite "high class" restaurant. I requested a "romantic" setting, so we were seated right in front of their huge fireplace. :) After ordering, I told her I had to go to the bathroom...while in fact, I was running back out to my car to get the ring. I gave it to the manager who had a silver platter, red roses, and chocolate dipped strawberries arranged. After dinner, our server told my g/f that I had a special desert prepared for her, she set the silver platter down and left. My g/f looked at it, saw the ring in the center of the platter, and when she turned around, I was already on my knee. Needless to say, she said yes! :love:

    So now we're engaged, and we already have the date set for September 15th, 2006. It's almost a year away, I know, but that's what we decided. That also gives you all time to buy a plane ticket to fly down, up, or over to Utah for our wedding...so mark your calenders damnit! :p :rolling:

    Yeah, we're not planning on having kids for another 4 or 5 years. I wouldn't wish to set little versions of me loose on the world...at least, not yet. :evil:
